This February 5th-15th 2009, the Berlinale Film Festival will celebrate its 59th anniversary. The Festival is Berlin’s biggest cultural event and a key occasion for the international film industry as a whole.

The venue has historically sold over 200,000 tickets for ten days of film, art, glamour, parties, and business meetings.

Around 400 films are shown every year, ranging from every genre, length, and format, so there is something to do for even the pickiest critics.

Artists and film professionals from over 120 countries gather at this glitzy festival to impress, entertain, and inspire, in one of Europe’s most electrifying cities.
