Flare Façade

The Flare Façade is a new technological system that brings to life any building or wall surface to respond and interact with its surroundings. The creators, the WhiteVoid Group, want us to envision the modular system as a living skin.

The Flare units are composed of semi rotating metal flakes supported by pneumatic cylinders. The overall visual effect is of hundreds of cells continuously shifting to reflect different patterns.

The cells are controlled by a computer and connected to internal and external sensors to form any kind of surface animation.
