The Hudson Bar is one of New York’s “it” bars, with an eclectic collection of interior pieces.
It is sometimes called the “upside down bar” because it features a lighted glass floor and a hand painted ceiling by the artist Francesco Clemente.
The drink menu is extensive. You could pretty much order any mainstream cocktail, or request your own concoction. The bar men are friendly.
On Saturdays, do dress to impress, screening can be quite selective and sometimes cruel.
